| Coffs Harbour Hinterland Tour - 4 to 5 hours. |
The eastern extremities of the Great Dividing Range are explored on this trip. Stunning valleys nested between parallel coastal ridges feature along with pristine rainforest containing mountain giants and cool mountain streams.
This is a great day out where you won't believe just how closely we circle the city limits exploring hidden valleys, travelling through lush farmlands, passing secret little B & Bs and boutique wineries.
Then we hit the bush! Travelling on well formed roads and trails we will pass through old growth forests, under tall tree ferns, then along ridges where we will rise some 700 metres above sea level and have spectacular views down across the Coffs Coast and beyond. Soon we will drop down through pristine rainforest pockets, passing waterfalls and stunning rock pools. It is hard to believe that the hustle and bustle isn't too far away. We will criss-cross several creeks that make you appreciate our area and just how easy it is to access with your 4wd. We will have morning tea in a pristine area where the beauty will surround us as the birds call out to each other and the huge gums reach for the sky.
You will need to engage 4wd on this trip. Bring the swimmers as you can cool off in one of the refreshing creeks while we have morning tea. For the more adventurous negotiate the 'Rock Slide' into a deep pool that will take your breath away. Bring shoes, camera and a hat.
